Listen I don’t know about you but I smoked 15-20 cigarettes a day for over 20 years. I started smoking socially to fit in at school when I was around 14 years old. Fast forward 20 years and I’d tried to quit dozens of times but the nicotine addiction was too strong. I’m telling you, you name it I tried it all; the expensive quit smoking laser therapy, the quit smoking gum, nicotine patches all the stop smoking aids that I tried on the market just didn’t seem to work. You know how it goes, you kick the habit for a day maybe two and then the “cravings” set in and you’re literally gasping for your next cigarette.

Well I’m telling you now all the regular smokers I knew never gave up first time round, you and I are no different. In fact the only reason I actually managed to quit smoking was because I followed a system I learnt about from my friend Greg at work. I got talking to him one lunchtime at work about my desire to kick the habit, he told me about something called the P.Q™ method which he said was an easy step-by-step system he used to quit smoking and completely removed the mental part of the addiction for good.
He said it allowed him to quit within 7 days, and within that time the cravings were gone and he had absolutely no desire to smoke. Like any normal person in that situation I was sceptical since I hadn’t heard of anything that could produce those sort of results within such a short space of time. I set what I thought was an almost impossible target – to quit smoking in 24 hours..
After I got the system that night I decided enough was enough, I wasn’t going to take 7 days I was going to do it in 24 hours or not at all…
I went home told my wife to throw my cigarettes out because today was the day I had decided to quit. If this unique method worked for Greg at work then it was going to work for me.
I set up my room with no distractions and started looking over this method and realised that I wouldn’t need to keep a smoking diary (tried that in the past and got bored), it was going to allow me to quit without gaining weight and at my own pace.
I applied the targeted psychotherapeutic method and followed all the instructions, when I got up the next day I felt confident that my smoking days were a thing of the past. In fact that morning was the first morning in 20 years I never got up and smoked straight away, I waited and waited for the cravings to come but they never did.
After 24 hours I had no mood swings, no nicotine withdrawal, I actually felt a little bit sick when I thought about smoking. 2 weeks later I still hadn’t smoked; I told Sara (my wife) and she couldn’t believe I quit so fast, she had a proud look on her face, she’d always wanted me to give up for our son and my health.
